Davia brings more than 30 years of experience to the Meridian West team, offering a deep understanding of both
public and private sector work across the US and International Architecture Engineering and Construction (AEC)
landscapes. Whether supporting small businesses or major corporations, she’s built a strong track record in
identifying, tracking and winning contracts.

Over the course of her career, Davia has led numerous AEC marketing teams, embracing roles in business
development, marketing and proposal management. She’s worked across a wide range of sectors—including
federal, state and local government, industrial, infrastructure, public safety and higher education—always with a
focus on helping teams position themselves to win.

Known for her strategic thinking and collaborative approach, Davia brings strength in areas like client relationship
management, market research and pursuit strategy. She’s skilled at managing complex Requests for Proposals
(RFPs), leading proposal efforts and developing messaging that resonates with both technical experts and
decision-makers. She also brings experience in branding and communications, with a knack for creating content
that connects.

Outside the world of AEC, Davia’s heart belongs to agriculture, especially the equestrian world. Born and raised in
Texas, she was introduced to horses early and went on to study Animal Science at Texas A&M University. Her
younger years were spent in the rodeo ring, barrel racing her way through high school and college.
After a brief stint as a microbiologist, Davia made the move to New Mexico in the mid-1980s, where she launched
her AEC career with an architectural firm known for its legendary federal work, including projects at Los Alamos,
New Mexico, as part of the Manhattan Project. It was in New Mexico where Davia found her calling in AEC
marketing—and she hasn’t looked back since.

New Mexico also expanded her equestrian interests, shifting from the hooves and heartbeats of the rodeo arena to
training, showing and breeding an icon of the American equestrian tradition, American Saddlebred horses. In the
late ’80s, she relocated to Georgia with her horses in tow and continued to work with AEC firms before joining
Meridian West in early 2025.

To this day, Davia remains passionate about both her professional pursuits and her equestrian roots—still chasing
proposals and the next big win, whether in the office or the show ring.
